Our special Internet based Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) program is a secure platform that supports the processing of national EFT and ACH check transactions. In order to accept ACH/Electronic checks on the Internet, we must set you up on a special Web-based ACH account.
When you accept an ACH/Electronic check as a form of payment, you are basically asking your customers to give you access to their checking account information and the authorization to debit their bank account directly as payment for goods or services. Your Internet Customer inputs their checking information: Bank name, account number, ABA Transit/Routing number, and authorization to debit their account for payment via a secure server payment page.
It is just as easy as using a credit card for a purchase!
